Our Mission

Ravens & Roses Publishing’s mission is to revolutionize the independent publishing industry by supporting and uplifting the marginalized and underrepresented authors through creativity, ingenuity, and innovation.

The publishing industry has failed a large group of writers and authors. While it may not be possible to bring about a change overnight, every little step counts.

Diversity, Inclusion, and Representation form the three pillars that govern our selection process. We are especially proud to represent authors from the BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Neurodivergent, Disabled, and authors from other underrepresented communities.

Diversity

The practice of including or involving people from a range of different social and ethnic backgrounds and of different genders, sexual orientations, such as the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities,

Inclusion

The practice or policy of providing equal access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, such as those who have physical or mental disabilities and members of other minority groups.

Representation

The practice of including and accurately depicting a person, community, or ethnic group in works such as art, media, literature, etc., and present to larger audiences.

Who We Are

Team Ravens & Roses is a group of indie authors, editors, designers who banded together to create a small press that puts the authors first. Our founder, Rashmi P. Menon designed Ravens & Roses with the notion of pioneering a change, however small it may be, in the publishing industry and provide a platform for all authors, especially those from the marginalized and underrepresented communities.
