Tales Untold: Mythos From Around The World is a collection of short stories based on myths and folklore from different parts of the world.
We want unique tales from every nook and corner of this world. The more diverse your story, the better!
Unleash your creativity and give us your best folklore retelling or bring mythological characters and creatures into the modern world. Write a story with a twist to an original myth or your most imaginative mythical tale!
Take your pick but be original and creative in the story you deliver!
The maximum allowed word count per story is 8,000 words with a sweet spot between 6,500-7,000 words.
What We Are Looking For

- Folklore Retellings (Native American, Hinduism, Biblical, Jewish, Other Indigenous Cultures, etc.)
- Modern Day Stories based on Folklore or Myth (Norse, Greek, Roman, Celtic, Egyptian, Hindu, African, Asian, Far Eastern, etc.)
- Tales with a unique twist/climax to popular or even lesser known mythological stories
