SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submissions Open until October 31, 2023
We are currently accepting submissions in all genres until October 31, 2023. While we accept submissions in all fiction and non-fiction genres, we do have a specific wishlist we wish to represent. Please review the submission guidelines and the MSWL below before submitting your manuscripts.
In order to be considered for publication with Ravens & Roses Publishing, your manuscript must meet at least one of the criteria mentioned on the left bar of this page.
General Guidelines
Please read the submission guidelines fully before contacting us. If you have questions about the eligibility of your manuscript, please contact us using the contact button at the bottom of this page. We will respond to questions about submissions or eligibility to submit within 2 business days.
Your submission email must include a Query Letter and synopsis as the body of the email, and the first three chapters of your manuscript as an attachment. If selected, we will respond requesting the full manuscript.
We would love to respond to your submission as soon as we receive it, however, please give us between 4 weeks before following up on the status of your submission.
Query Email Guidelines
Please include the following as the body of the email:
- Query letter explaining which criteria your MS meets for submission to Ravens & Roses Publishing
- Synopsis
- Genre and Age Category
- Author Name/Pen Name
- Manuscript Total Word Count
- Author Website and/or Social Media Links
Manuscript Guidelines
Please submit your manuscript following the below formatting rules:
- The manuscript must be attached to the email in Microsoft Word or PDF format. Please do not copy it into the email
- 1-inch margins on all sides
- 12 pt Arial font
- Double spacing
- No HTML formatting
- All pages must have the page numbers in the header or footer
- Please include any trigger or content warning in the body of the email
